Eugene Ellis Glisson
June 04, 1934 - June 27, 2017
Eugene Ellis Glisson, 83, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Memorial University Medical Center. Mr. Glisson was born in Claxton, GA and lived most of his life in Savannah. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Glisson was preceded in death by his parents, Milton W. Glisson and Minnie Shuman Glisson, and ten siblings.
He was a devoted husband and is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sylvia Waters Glisson, and a brother, Wallace Daniel Glisson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Glisson was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church, the Good Neighbor Sunday School Class, and the Silver Nuggets.
Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Friday at Immanuel Baptist Church.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with military honors.
Remembrances may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church.
